Karissa joined CrossFit Bankstown in July 2016 through our 6 week program. She wanted to tone her body, get fitter and make a lifestyle change to have the best future.
Over the last few months she decided enough was enough wanted to reach her goals. Throughtout the journey she has pushed herself harder then ever before. She made changes to her food intake, and promised herslef to train at least 4 times a week. She has stuck to that and with the support of Coach Fatima and the rest of the community. She couldn't be happier, this is the best shape she's been in not only body wise, but fitness wise, her whole adult life. Karissa's transformation shows as long as you are focused, push yourself, and have a great support system, you will achieve the goals that you want.
Here we are, smiles after some Brutality. In the last 6 months we have seen an enormous change in Jase, from physical strength and skill level all the way to mindset and self confidence. Jase is the demonstration that constancy and dedication are the key to see results. He brings so much to our community and CF 2200 is proud to having you.
Anthony Is the dad of 2 wonderful kids and he's one of ours first member. The tough job he does outside this gym doesn't prevent him from training. We met Anthony with a significant shoulder mobilty problem, and now, with his costant commitment he is able to carry or lift anything overhead when required.
In each class he puts all that he has smashing every single Wod appear on the board.
And If you hear a cell phone ringing during the class, surely it is his own! But in those 60 minutes there is no answer for anyone!

It's been 9 months since starting at CrossFit 2200 and it is one of the best decisions I have made. I don't regret it one bit. I've seen myself improve so much in terms of strength, stamina, endurance and mental toughness. There's been changes to my body that I never thought was possible. I never thought I could achieve half the things I'm doing now. Matt and Fillipo are professional coaches. I see them as friends. They're always there to offer advice and push you past your comfort zone. That's where you get the gains. I look forward to coming to class everytime as the people I train with are great. We motivate eachother and we still have a lot of fun during our workouts. There's always something new and exciting to do at our box. CrossFit is apart of my life now and it has resulted in higher energy levels and more mental resilience. CrossFit is great because you work at your level but still stay part of the class. Slowly slowly with commitment and patience as well as the support from the team you will see massive results in a very short time period. I highly recommend you give it a go and then you will see what I mean.
My CrossFit journey began about 4 months ago. It has so far been an amazing adventure that has made me physically and mentally stronger. I’ve joined many gyms in the past but my motivation never lasted more than a couple of weeks but after starting with CrossFit 2200 I am hooked and actually enjoy working out. The workouts are always different.
Seeing the results it has given me makes me keep working harder and harder every day. In 4 weeks I was seeing results and learning new moves I never thought I would be able to do. I’ve lost over 8 kgs and my strength is improving with every workout. I was never the athletic type, I'm not good at sports but when I joined CrossFit it made me feel like I could do it and even though I'm not the fastest or strongest but I'm determined to get better.
The people that I have met through CrossFit are all incredible and supportive, and they are just one of the many things that keeps me coming back day after day. The coaches are amazing and supportive, guiding me in regards to diet and correct movement and pushing me to get that one last rep, even when I thought I had nothing left to give. There is always a benchmark to accomplish and personal best to smash. Going to the box is one of the things I look forward to. I can't imagine not doing CrossFit now.
Another thing that keeps me wanting to go back is the sense of accomplishment I get after completing a tough WOD. I have learnt to overcome the doubt in my head, both in and out of the box. There were so many times where I would walk out, barely able to walk and saying to myself I must be crazy to come back again, but this same strength brings me back the next day, ready to go.
The team at Crossfit2200 have turned me into a confident, lean, mean, lifting machine. I want to thank Coach Matt and Coach Filippo for giving me the confidence to push myself to the limit.
I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for all your time and effort you have put into my training. I am certainly an improved person and athlete because of your programming. I lost 13 kgs in just 4 months which was amazing experience for me. I have learned so much each day I was in there and greatly appreciate it all! I enjoyed every minute of it from the minute I walk in the door to the minute I leave.
You have created a great team and environment for people to train in and I hope it continues to be a great success for you in the future. Fillipo is just amazing trainer. His programming is fascinating with promised results.Having been a member gives me great pride to be a part of it all!
I will continue to recommend it to friends and newones i will make in future and will drop in from time to time to smash up a WOD!
